Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah Menengah (KBSM)

Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah Menengah (KBSM)

Stella Maris Pudu is a private secondary school following the Malaysian Integrated Curriculum for Secondary Schools (Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah Menengah or KBSM) and Standard Curriculum for Secondary Schools (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah or KSSM).

We are preparing students to sit for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) public examination at the end of Form 5. The Malaysian Ministry of Education implemented the School Based Assessment (Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah or PBS) System beginning with Form 1 students in the year 2012. Currently under this system, students sit for the Form 3 Assessment (Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3 or PT3) at the end of Form 3.

The Stella Maris schools are proud of the fact that our students show a high level of proficiency in the English language after a few years in the school. Each year a significant number of students do very well in the English language paper in the SPM examination. To continue maintaining this high level of proficiency in the English language, the school has adopted parts of an international syllabus in the teaching of English. Mathematics and Science subjects are also taught in English.

Mandarin, IGCSE English, SPM Literature in English and SPM Sains Komputer classes are also offered outside normal class hours, subject to demand.
